I'm a Charlton fan, now resident in Prague. We like to think we've been through it, and done our bit, at Charlton, but I realise that what Brighton and their fans have gone through is even worse. It was nice to be welcomed there on Wednesday night. Brighton is a decent proper club playing the best football in this benighted division. If you go up as champions and then go on from there, I think most Charlton supporters will be happy for you, because we've been through it. The emergence of the Premier League coinciding with Albion's plight, meant that sadly you were more likely to hear 'Glory glory Man United' in the playground's of BN1 than 'Seagulls'. <br />As an Arsenal season ticket holder though, I was shocked to be charged £25 to watch Brighton/Notts County at the Withdean a couple of years ago.
