Now, if only Zarate find his old form, Lazio will be a relatively cheap team, in therm of wages, with offensive-minded squad.Formellohttp://lazioanalytical.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-487486960623783530.post-44909493764599533522011-09-14T10:51:06.573+02:002011-09-14T10:51:06.573+02:00Great blog, and great, great stuff!!!!

It is a popular misbelief spread by Lotito and Geronzi. The truth is that Banca di Roma, or Capitalia as they are called now, placed large amounts of debts on the club after they took control of the club in January 2003. This was the only reason why they took control of the club in the first place, numerous businessmen (Bertarelli, Baldassarra, Murdoch even Gaddafi) wanted to invest in the club when it was still officially under Cragnotti's administration, naturally they lost interest after Capitalia ruined the club and there was only Lotitio left.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-487486960623783530.post-85690155405523605942011-09-08T22:04:31.593+02:002011-09-08T22:04:31.593+02:00Mille Grazie!! He also claims how he wants to adopt an "Arsenal-esque" model at the club, yet the youth team is being completely neglected and when someone like De Silvestri comes through the system, Lotito somehow manages to alienate them from the club and sells them off. Foreign talents like Lamela and Pjanic are being observed for months, but in the end Roma snaps them up and Lotito opts of older and cheaper players instead. About the new stadium, I doubt we will ever see it being built under him...<br />When Lazio returned to the Serie A in the late 80's after the "totonero" farce, they had a similar, albeit less controversial president in Gianmarco Calleri, who hepled stabilizing the club before Cragnotti bought it and launched Lazio to new heights.
