Also, Dortmund made it back into the Deloitte Money League for 2012 coming in at #16, and this is without Champions League revenue. Dortmund could have made a strong push for the top 10 for 2013 with a better showing in the CL, but I expect a rise nonetheless with the ever improving and more numerous sponsorship contracts. But the profit already includes the sale of Nuri Sahin to Real Madrid, so it would have been a small pre-tax win and a post-tax loss (or small profit) without the sale. Domestic rights are split roughly as follows: 50% even share, 25% merit payment depending on final position, 25% facility fee depending on how many times team broadcast live. Overseas rights are split evenly.<br /><br />Champions League money is a mixture of guaranteed fees and performance payments, i.e. the further you progress, the more you get paid.
